If you are hopping over from Ruthie's blog, September 9'th, then you have hopped in the right spot along the peep trail! If you missed Ruthie, make sure to hop back over because I know she has something amazing for you!
We were asked to make a project using those fabulous confectionary sweets called Peeps! I will have you each know that I'm an official Peeps Club Member, and have been for several years! hahah! I love peeps and all the different varities they have now..just soooo much fun!
Easter is one of my very favorite holidays, as it is the day my Lord and Savior, arose from the grave....that could no longer hold Him. I feel blessed every Easter to be sitting down on this earth with my family and friends. It truly is a time that my spirit feels refreshed. I know life is very hard many days...but always remember, that after this life is over, death can not hold you. You will one day.... be with your maker, with no worries, no fears...only peace and love! What a wonderful day that will be!!!

Today I wanted to share a super quick project with you that I use for my Easter brunch table settings almost every single year! It takes maybe 5 minutes total to make, but is an adorable and useful place setting for your Easter brunch guests!

You will need:
*a small saucer
*green paper grass or the edible green candy grass from Germany
*Peep easter marchmallow chick
*Egg
*Glimmer mist or egg dye
*bamboo skewer (or toothpick would probably work)
*scrap of paper/pen/glue

1. Crack an egg in half and wash out very well.
2. Take the green grass and roll it into your hands to form a small nest (smaller than the diameter of your plate)
3. Dye your egg or glimmer mist it like I did (lol)
4. Wipe your egg dry with a paper towel
5. Place your marshmallow Peep chick inside
6. Create a quick flag from scrap paper by cutting a 1" by 2" piece of paper, then cutting a quick triangle out from the very outer edge.
7. Write your guest's name on the flag
8. Glue to your bamboo skewer. (Cut the skewer into small pieces)
9. Place on your table and get ready for lots of sweet smiles and happiness from your guests!
