Royal Blog Hop plus Giveaway: Doing Good!!!

HI everyone--today I have a very sad and serious subject for the blog hop: the Fight against Domestic Violence; read on to see how making a card and doing this blog hop can make a difference! If you know me at all, you will know that doing good is VERY important to me. I had a cousin that I was very close to, and when she re-married she suffered from domestic violence. It was the most heart wrenching thing I can remember from my childhood--worrying about her, praying for her and wishing she could leave. So I dedicate this hop to my favorite cousin Doris, who also died of breast cancer at a  young age. Her life was so sad and tragic, but she was the most beautiful and kind hearted person. I honestly am crying sitting here typing this and thinking of her. She was an amazing and beautiful person, and I wish so many times she was still here. My mother is a humanitarian witha  HUGE heart and she watched over Doris, making sure that her husband knew we were watching...aware. I really think this saved her life while she was with him.
So always remember there are so many people, that when you meet them on the internet, the street, in the store...that could be facing something very dark...and our actions can make or break a person's spirit. Remember to be kind, smile, and keep your eyes open in ways that you can help and make a difference. I know many of you think I'm too soft-hearted, but I really believe my job on this earth is to make a MIRACLE every day--if not now...when?
Tomorrow may too late to donate, to pray, to make that change, to reach out that hand to help

About 4.8 million intimate partner-related physical assaults and rapes occur every year while many more assaults and rapes go unreported entirely. Over 3 million children witness violence in their home each year and those who see and hear violence in the home suffer physically and emotionally. These statistics are sad and overwhelming, but help IS out there for those that choose to break the silence.

Together we can make a difference! Help us instill some hope where very little probably exists and give 24 families a chance at recovery when we are able to donate 1k dollars to the Bradley Angle House. Your purple themed card(s) with a hope filled message inside could make all the difference, not to mention give YOU a chance to win the grand prize for this hop...what is it you ask? A prize basket valued at more than $100.

Want more chances to win the grand prize? Additional entries will be given for each $1 donation you include with your card. Would you prefer 1 entry, 10 entries, or is 100 entries more of what you had in mind? It's all up to you! Cards must be postmarked by June 30th for inclusion in basket drawings and can be mailed to the following address:

Now I want to say I'm SUPER happy that I met Faith and we became aquainted! I loved hearing her story and thoughts about domestic violence. In fact, I was so inspired, that I have chosen to give my next charity counts monies from my 5'th stamp set: Amazing You go to a domestic violence organization. I just have to research to see which one is rated the best and gives the most to the people in need. That always takes me the longest time out of every step for making a stamp set...researching the charity!
Every single stamp set I create has a Charity Counts. What is charity counts? It's my way of giving to those in need. For every stamp set I sell, I donate $1 to the charity noted. This is NOT a limited time offer, where it only counts during a special time. I donate ALL the time for EVERY single stamp set. You can read about the charities HERE and I make sure that each charity donates atleast 85% to the person in need. That is VERY close to my heart...doing good for those in need. I decided if I was going to do anything that generated income, I was going to give back and bless as I have been blessed. My stamps are also made and assembled in the USA!
I have also donated 2 sets to the Domestic Violence Basket and you can enter to win that over at Faith's blog.

All you have to do is leave me me a comment after saying a prayer for those in the world battling domestic violence. It only takes a few minutes and that few minutes in prayer may help save someone's life.
I pray that none of  you are battling domestic violence, and if you are you can find the courage to get help. My ear is always open if you need to talk or need help. Reach out---there is someone who cares, and she is right here!
